In the early summer of 1973,  my mother, Patti, and my father, George,  along with my 2 younger brothers, Jim and Mike, opened Peppermint Patties “Ice Cream Specialties”.  We served hand dipped ice cream and a super premium high butterfat soft ice cream similar to today’s custard products.

From 1977 to mid 1980’s My brothers and I started George Dunlap & Associates, we were an Ice Cream Machine distributor located out of Columbus, OH and serviced the Mid-West USA market.

1990’s to 2008, National Sales Manager for National Products, a flavoring designer & manufacturer for the  Ice Cream, Bakery, Confection, Food Service, and the Beverage Industries.  We serviced such companies as; Starbucks, Burger King, Alfred Nickles Baking, Kroger, Ritter’s Frozen Custard,  Graeter’s Ice Cream, as well as 1000’s of “Mom & Pop” type ice cream ,bakery, and candy business.

2008 to 2021– Sales & Marketing for C. Nelson Mfg., Company, Oak Harbor, OH, USA, Flavor sales for International Bakers Services and other fine flavoring companies.  Design and Consultation work for the soft (yogurt/custard) and hard ice cream companies; menu development, store equipment design/layout, operation and employee training, and marketing implementation. Sales training & motivational seminars for ice cream equipment distributors across the USA. 

2021 – Current, Sales & Marketing Consultant: to the Ice Cream Soft/Hard Scoop Manufacturing Trade & Retail Soft/Hard Scoop shops USA.
