C Nelson Mfg., Co builds 2 styles of flavorrails.

Flavorrails were used years ago for making sundaes, milk shakes, and other soda fountain concoctions.  Today because of the growth of smoothies and blizzard type mix-in blended products, the C. Nelson cabinet is now used as, a prep-cabinet, a freezer work-station.  A freezer-scoop/work-station for all your frozen/chilled supplies to make your great tasting smoothies, cappuccino’s, milk shakes, and blizzards.

The BDF8 is the more traditional flip lid flavor rail which has the heavier duty insulated flip lids along with a well-insulated jar rail.  Remember all rails are designed to only hold non-food/spoil-able products (NOT dressings, etc).  Chocolate, caramel, peanut butter and other toppings hold just fine.

The sliding lid new style flavorrail, BD-X-JR, is designed for those individual and chain shops that need to have a clean work-area/counter space for making smoothies, shakes, and blizzards, and other blended type treats.  The sliding lids allow easy access to your ice cream products in the freezer; while adding blend-in toppings, and, then mixing each order, in the same floor space.  Mixers and Blenders can be easily installed on the back shelf of the BD-X-JR cabinet.  Hand sinks, 3 hole sinks, and dipper-wells can be added to either side of the cabinet for your sanitation needs.

Gelato and Ice Cream in the same dipping case, New by C. Nelson Mfg.

Ever since when the Italians introduced Gelato to the US market it has been a hit in most major cities across the USA.  Gelato has not hit the rural market as well. Finally from C. Nelson there is a ice cream dipping cabinet that will serve up both types of cool creamy treats in one dipping cabinet.  This split style cabinet is great for those operators who want to introduce Gelato to their customers but do not want to invest in a full blown Gelato cabinet.  They are very costly and hard to work with.

C. Nelson introduces the split Gelato & Ice Cream dipping cabinet, 8dip-hv serving Gelato & Ice Cream.  The 8dip-hv is setup to display 6, 4-liter pans, and 4 3-gallon ice cream tubs.  Now that is a great bargain for an operator who wants to sell both quality gelato and ice creams.

Newly designed & updated, Milk Shake, Smoothie, and Ice Cream scooping freezer by C. Nelson Mfg., CO.

 

 C.Nelson Mfg., Co., Oak Harbor, Ohio, USA, is proud to introduce the newly updated BDxx-JR (BD4-JR “the new look video”) series of flavorrail freezers.  C. Nelson Mfg.,  lead by Kelley Smith, President, and his design team manager Paul Cox, Plant Engineer, spent almost a year researching the Milk Shake & Burger market leaders.   One such company is

Fatburger, an existing customer based out of Southern California, with stores located around the world.  Kelley Smith said Fatburger came to him and had a simple request; they wanted a well-built freezer free-standing or counter drop-in, with at least 6 traditional topping jars, a large work prep area, front breather compressor that would allow the freezer to be pushed all the way to the wall, and a company that was willing to stand behind their product with world-wide service & support.  Simple request, thought Kelley Smith, because that is what we do for all our customers we build quality in every cabinet!

Paul Cox later told me that during the design process Fatburger then asked what was the possibility to expand the flavorrail capacity to more than 6 traditional size topping jars, and that is when Dennis Byrne of Byrne & Associates, representative of Server Products Company, came to the rescue.  Dennis Byrne introduced C. Nelson to the new Server Products 2/3rd size topping jar line.

The new 2/3rd jar line was designed for those operations that wanted more variety in the same space.  We were excited, said Paul Cox, just what we were looking for.  Fatburger and many of C. Nelson’s custom design burger & shake accounts where excited too!  Kelley Smith and Paul Cox were able to get 50% more jars in the same flavorrail line of cabinets.  Kelley Smith and Paul Cox appreciated the help of Ron Ripple, VP of Sales & Marketing with Server Products, Kelley Smith said both companies worked hard to satisfy the needs of our mutual customer Fatburger.

C. Nelson, for the past 30 years, built the model BDF series flavorrail cabinet, this style has served many ice cream shops years of service free operation but was limited on workspace and expanded topping choices.  Another Southern California customer, Ghirardelli Chocolates, was looking for a flavorrail that would give them an old-fashioned soda fountain look with lots and lots of work space.  Ghirardelli satisfied both needs in the newly re-designed BDxx-JR cabinet.  Ghirardelli put the new cabinets, BD8-JR and BD12-JR, in their Disney California, Soda Shop.  The cabinets allowed them
